Product Overview
Steam Activated Carbon Powder (PAC) is manufactured by thermally activating selected virgin wood carbon in rotary kilns at elevated temperatures with high-pressure steam, followed by controlled air-swept micro-pulverization. The resulting ultra-fine particle distribution creates exceptionally short diffusion path lengths into internal micropores and mesopores.
This fast kinetic contact makes our powder activated carbon the industry standard for liquid-phase batch operations where residence time is limited, including flash decolorization tanks, wastewater clarifiers, and filter presses.
