Shree Ashapura Carbon's Wood Based Activated Carbon is engineered through a rigorously controlled thermal oxidation process using steam at temperatures exceeding 900°C. The natural cellular structure of virgin wood provides a balanced network of mesopores (2–50 nm) and macropores (> 50 nm), facilitating fast kinetic adsorption of large organic molecules, color bodies, and synthetic contaminants.
Unlike mineral coal-derived carbons, virgin wood carbon features exceptionally low ash content (< 5%) and neutral elution behavior, ensuring minimal chemical leaching in critical industrial processes.
